SUSPICIOUS PERSON – ELIAS FRANK TODD
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Elias Frank Todd, 32, of 120 Shannon St., Patterson, La., arising from an incident on February 18, 2026. On the aforementioned date, a narcotics unit officer observed two individuals walking within the lane of travel creating undue risks to themselves as well as the motoring public. The deputy made contact with both individuals, one of which is identified as Elias Frank Todd. As the deputy was interviewing both individuals, Todd began to run. Todd was quickly apprehended and arrested. While running, Todd discarded a substance believed to be methamphetamine. The package was recovered and seized. It was later determined that during transport to the detention facility, Elias Frank Todd attempted to hide additional suspected methamphetamine in the sheriff’s office transport vehicle. That substance was seized as well.
The seized products were sent to the Louisiana State police Crime Lab for analysis which produced a positive result for methamphetamine.
Deputies obtained arrest warrants for Elias Frank Todd. Elias Frank Todd was released from the custody of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Elias Frank Todd was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Obstruction of Justice
*Detainer – Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office

Elias Frank Todd remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
