SUSPICIOUS PERSON COMPLAINT
SUSPICIOUS PERSON COMPLAINT – DARIUS ANTHONY LASSERE
BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Darius Anthony Lassere, 17, of 1475 Magnolia Heights, Vacherie, LA, on felony burglary charges arising from a suspicious person complaint in the 100 block of Ewell Street, south of Belle Rose.
Uniformed patrol deputies were dispatched to the area and made contact with the complainant who advised that a young male subject was on their property and was attempting to break into their home. Deputies began searching for the individual based upon the description the complainant provided. Deputies located a young male subject who provided a false identity. At some point, the individual was identified as Darius Anthony Lassere. Deputies were able to determine that the individual described by the complainant and the person now identified as Darius Anthony Lassere were one in the same.
As their investigation progressed, deputies recovered evidence allegedly stolen from a vehicle nearby.
At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies arrested Darius Anthony Lassere and booked him into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Simple Burglary of a Motor Vehicle
*Purchase and Public Possession of Alcoholic Beverages
*Criminal Trespass
*Resisting an Officer (2 Counts)
Darius Anthony Lassere remains incarcerated with bond set at $35,000.
