SUSPICIOUS PERSONS – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
TREMAINE C. BROWN, CRYSTAL LEBLANC
PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Tremaine C. Brown, 23, of 12531 Coursey Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA and Crystal LeBlanc, 42, of 201 Heriard Street, Plattenville, LA, on felony drug charges after narcotics agents and deputies investigated a suspicious person complaint near Lucky Hit Subdivision in Plattenville.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Heriard Street in reference to suspicious activity.
Narcotics officers arrived in the area and noted a vehicle parked partially in the roadway with individuals inside of the vehicle. As agents approached, the driver attempted to pull off but was stopped by the agents.
Occupants of the vehicle including the driver, now identified as Tremaine C. Brown and Crystal LeBlanc, a rear seat passenger were ordered from the vehicle.
Agents engaged both subjects into violator interviews. At the conclusion of those interviews, agents summoned a K-9 unit to the scene. The K-9 conducted an open-air sniff of the suspect vehicle and alerted positive to the presence of controlled dangerous substances.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of suspected crack cocaine.
Tremaine C. Brown and Crystal LeBlanc were both arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Crack Cocaine
Both Brown and LeBlanc remain incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
