SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE COMPLAINT – IVORY JOSEPH RIVERE
PLATTENVILLE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ivory Joseph Rivere, 36, of 1641 Highway 402, Napoleonville, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a suspicious vehicle complaint late Saturday night near Plattenville.
Deputies were dispatched to the area and did locate the vehicle as well as the driver who appeared to be waking up disoriented.
The deputy removed the occupant from the vehicle and initiated an officer / violator interview. The deputy noted the driver, now identified as Ivory Joseph Rivere, to have done poorly on a series of field sobriety tests. The deputy requested and was granted consent to search the suspect vehicle.
During the search process, deputies seized a quantity of the drug Adderall.
Deputies also determined that Rivere’s license was under suspension.
Ivory Joseph Rivere was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*D.W.I.
*Obstruction of a Public Passage
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Possession of Adderall (49 Doses)
Ivory Joseph Rivere remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
