“THE EQUALIZER” WOMEN’S SELF DEFENSE CLASS
“THE EQUALIZER” WOMEN’S SELF DEFENSE CLASS, INSTRUCTOR – LT. JARRED TABOR
BAYOU L’OURSE – Sheriff Leland Falcon announced the completion of a women’s self defense program held at the Bayou L’Ourse Community Center on June 7, 2026.
Lt. Jarred Tabor conducted the class which is known as “The Equalizer” program. This training program is a nationally recognized training instruction designed to provide women with tactics and information that reduce the risk of being victimized by violent crime.
Lt. Tabor is a certified defensive tactics instructor and is currently assigned as a shift supervisor for the Sheriff’s Office. Deputy Ashley Westbrook assisted in conducting the class.
Sheriff Falcon thanks all of the participants who were part of this important training class.
