THEFT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE – TONY FORET
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tony Foret. 39, of 153 Division Street, Houma, LA, on Theft of a Motor Vehicle charges arising from an incident occurring on or about July 12, 2025, near Paincourtville.
On July 14, 2025, detectives initiated an investigation after a local farm manager reported an off-road vehicle having being stolen.
Detectives were able to secure electronic video evidence of a suspect vehicle. That vehicle was located at a residence on Joe Dugas Road. Jason Michael Arceneaux, 31, of 136 Joe Dugas Road was arrested at that time.
As part of the investigation, detectives also identified Tony Foret as a suspect and subsequently secured warrants for his arrest but he remained at large.
Tony Foret turned himself in on Monday and was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Theft of a Motor Vehicle
Tony Foret remains incarcerated with bond set at $15,000.
The off-road vehicle was recovered in Lafourche Parish. Sheriff Falcon thanks the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this matter.
