TRAFFIC COMPLAINT – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Victoria Noel Courville, 23, of 2815 Lafiton Lane, Port Allen, LA, on felony drug charges following a traffic complaint.
On Sunday afternoon, deputies were dispatched to an area of LA 70 in Pierre Part in connection with a reckless driver. A uniformed patrol deputy located the vehicle and initiated an investigative stop.
Deputies made contact with the driver now identified as Victoria Noel Courville. It was immediately determined that Courville did not possess a Louisiana driver’s license.
Deputies noted Courville to be acting nervously and she did volunteer that she had previously been arrested for meth-amphetamine possession. The suspect informed the deputy that she had drug paraphernalia on her person. Courville then produced a make-up bag with a meth smoking device as well as a quantity of meth-amphetamine. It was also determined that Victoria Noel Courville was wanted on a fugitive warrant from West Baton Rouge Parish.
Courville was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*No Driver’s License
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Fugitive Warrant – West Baton Rouge Parish
Victoria Noel Courville was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
