TRAFFIC / DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – I.C.E. ARREST
TYRONE FAIR, JR.
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tyrone Fair, Jr., 31, of 383-A LA 400, Napoleonville, LA, on multiple felony drug law violations following a traffic stop near Labadieville late Monday.
A uniformed patrol officer, assigned to the I.C.E. detail, observed a north bound vehicle with an equipment violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle.
The deputy made contact with the driver and proceeded to conduct an officer / driver interview. While doing so, the deputy noted a strong odor of suspected marijuana emitting from the vehicle.
As a result of that interview, a search was conducted of the suspect vehicle.
That process led to the seizure of several illegal controlled dangerous substances as well as a firearm.
Tyron Fair, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Alprazolam (Xanax)
*Possession of Vyvanse
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Prohibited Acts – Schedule IV
*Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm
*Illegal Carrying of a Weapon in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances
*Illegal Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
*Tail Lamps Required
*Parole Hold – Department of Corrections
Tyrone Fair, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond proceeding.
