TRAFFIC / DRUG LAW VIOLATONS
ALISON ANNE MENUET

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Alison Anne Menuet, 45, of 4680 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, on charges arising out of a Thursday afternoon traffic stop in Napoleonville.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. The deputy initiated a stop of the vehicle and made contact with the driver, now identified as Alison Anne Menuet.

The deputy interviewed the driver and as a result of that interview, the deputy requested consent to search. As a result of that process, a quantity of illegal controlled dangerous substances was recovered.

Alison Ann Menuet was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession with Intent to Distribute Methadone
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Amphetamine
*Illegal Use of Controlled Dangerous Substances in the Presence of Persons Under Age 17
*Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
*Driving Under Suspension

Alison Anne Menuet remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
