TRAFFIC INCIDENT – JACOB GEISLER
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jacob Geisler, 29, of 172 Andras Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on felony charges arising from a traffic stop late Saturday in Bayou L’Ourse, LA.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a bicycle in the area of Aristle Road and Andras Street without proper lighting / reflector material which is required.
The deputy attempted to stop the individual, but he continued on. While pursuing the suspect, the deputy observed the suspect dispose of certain items by throwing them.
At some point, the deputy was able to arrest the suspect, now identified as Jacob Geisler. He was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Resisting an Officer
*Bicycles – Front and Rear Lamps, Side and Rear Reflectors Required Between Sunset and Sunrise
*Obstruction of Justice
Jacob Geisler remains incarcerated with bond set at $10,000.
