TRAFFIC INCIDENT – AGGRAVATED FLIGHT
PHILLIP EVANS LANDRY
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Phillip Evans Landry, 21, of 1126 Highway 402, Napoleonville, LA, arising from a Saturday morning traffic incident originating in Plattenville, LA.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle driving in a reckless manner. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver engaged the deputy into a pursuit situation. The pursuit continued through highways and fields until south of Napoleonville. Deputies and troopers located the suspect vehicle and were eventually able to identify and arrest the driver, now identified as Phillip Evans Landry.
Phillip Evans Landry was transported and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Resisting An Officer
*Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
*Driving While Intoxicated – First Offense
*Speeding – 31 Plus Miles Over MPH
Phillip Evans Landry remains incarcerated with bond set at $65,000.
