TRAFFIC INCIDENT – AGGRAVATED FLIGHT – EDDIE HILLERY NED

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Eddie Hillery Ned, 24, of 32850 Lee Street, White Castle, LA, arising from a traffic incident originating in Pierre Part on Sunday morning on LA 70.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed an east bound vehicle commit a traffic violation and attempted a stop of that vehicle. The suspect engaged the deputy in a pursuit situation exceeding speeds of 100 miles per hour. Deputies pursued the suspect vehicle and were able to successfully terminate the pursuit east of LA 996. The suspect now identified as Eddie Hillery Ned was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Speeding

Eddie Hillery Ned remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
