TRAFFIC INCIDENT – AGGRAVATED FLIGHT I.C.E. ARREST – DEANTAE MYLES WASHINGTON

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Deantae Myles Washington, 24, of 141 Peterville Lane, Belle Rose, LA arising from a traffic incident turned pursuit on LA 70 east of Paincourtville on December 03, 2025.

An I.C.E. assigned unit observed an eastbound vehicle on LA 70 East commit a traffic violation and attempted a stop of the vehicle. The suspect driver engaged the deputy in a pursuit situation attaining speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour and driving in a reckless manner.

The suspect vehicle continued onto LA 3089 then drove into Donaldsonville back to LA 308. The suspect driver continued southbound on LA 308 where he crashed at LA 308 and the Palo Alto Bridge.

Deputies took the driver now identified as Deantae Myles Washington into custody. Deantae Myles Washington was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail and was transferred to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on December 05, 2025.

Deantae Myles Washington was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Driving Under Suspended Drivers’ License
*Speeding
*Resisting an Officer
*Disregarded a Stop Sign

Deantae Myles Washington remains incarcerated with bond set at $85,000.
