TRAFFIC INCIDENT – DRUG LAW VIOLATION, AUTO THEFT
LORI ELIZABETH GUYON – I.C.E. ARREST
ASSUMPTION – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Lori Elizabeth Guyon, 37, of 5427 West Main Street, Houma, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a traffic stop on LA 70 East on Friday evening.
The deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and proceeded to stop the vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Lori Elizabeth Guyon. The deputy engaged Lori Elizabeth Guyon in an officer / violator interview and noted multiple violations were present.
The deputy was then informed by dispatch that the 2008 GMC Yukon she was driving had been entered into the National Crime Information Center database as stolen out of the New Orleans area.
Lori Elizabeth Guyon was arrested. Deputies consented request to search the vehicle which was granted. During the search process a quantity of methamphetamine termed as substantial was seized. Different items of drug paraphernalia were seized as well.
Lori Elizabeth Guyon was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
*Felony Theft of an Automobile
*Illegal Use of Controlled Dangerous Substances in the Presence of Persons Under 17
Years of Age
*Altered / Expired Temporary License Tag
*Following Too Closely
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Lori Elizabeth Guyon remains incarcerated with bond set at $75,000.
