TRAFFIC INCIDENT – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Aaron Blake Henry, 28, of 478 Bridget Road, Schriever, LA, Javis Javon Caldwell, 33, 114 Louis Lane, Napoleonville, LA, and Drew Joseph Robichaux, 21, of 605 St. Charles Bypass Road, Thibodaux, LA, on felony charges arising from a traffic stop on LA 1 near Bertrandville on Thursday evening.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle with multiple equipment violations north bound on LA 1. The deputy initiated a stop of the vehicle and made contact with the driver now identified as Aaron Blake Henry and engaged Henry in an officer / violator interview. The deputy conducted a criminal records check on Henry and determined that he was wanted on a warrant for Failure to Appear in Court on felony drug charges in Assumption Parish. Aaron Blake Henry was arrested.

The deputy then made contact with two passengers, namely Javis Javon Caldwell and Drew Joseph Robichaux. While interviewing the passengers, the deputy noted a pungent odor of suspected marijuana emitting from the suspect vehicle.

The deputy requested and was granted consent to search the vehicle. During the search, deputies seized suspected marijuana, suspected Alprazolam (Xanax) and suspected MDMA (Ecstasy). Javis Javon Caldwell and Drew Joseph Robichaux were also arrested.

All three suspects were booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges as follows:

*As to Aaron Blake Henry
-Possession of MDMA (Ecstasy)
-Possession of Alprazolam (Xanax)
-Possession of Marijuana
-Improper Use of Multi Beam Road Lighting Equipment
-Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on Charges of Possession of Methamphetamine (Bond on Failure to Appear is set at $1,451.50 Cash Only)

Aaron Blake Henry awaits a bond hearing on the remaining charges.

*As to Javis Javon Caldwell:
-Possession of MDMA (Ecstasy)
-Possession of Alprazolam (Xanax)
-Possession of Marijuana

Javis Javon Caldwell remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

*As to Drew Joseph Robichaux:
-Possession of MDMA (Ecstasy)
-Possession of Alprazolam (Xanax)
-Possession of Marijuana

Drew Joseph Robichaux remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
