TRAFFIC INCIDENT – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Shanell Morris, 27, of Morristown Road, Raceland, LA, Antoine Jerald Westley, 26, of 136 Belle Isle Dr., Thibodaux, LA and Dohriyon Dvaughn Millien,30, of 3719 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA on felony drug charges arising out of a Sunday afternoon traffic stop south of Napoleonville, LA.
A uniformed patrol officer observed a vehicle on LA-308 commit a traffic violation and attempted to conduct a stop of that vehicle. The driver continued in a manner as to attempt to elude the deputy. Two other occupants were observed tossing what was determined later to be suspected controlled dangerous substances.
The deputy was able to stop the suspect vehicle and made contact with the driver, now determined to be Antoine Jerald Westley. The two passengers were identified as Shanell Morris and Dohriyon Millien.
During initial observations while conducting a walkaround of the suspect vehicle, there were numerous illegal substances in plain view.
All parties were detained and subsequently interviewed. As a result of those interviews, deputies conducted a search of the vehicle and seized quantities of suspected marijuana, suspected synthetic marijuana, meth-amphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Additionally, deputies recovered quantities of illegal drugs along the roadway which were attributed to these suspects.
All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on the following charges:

*Possession with Intent to Distribute Synthetic Marijuana
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in a Motor Vehicle
*Speeding
*Driving Under Suspension
*Flight from an Officer
*Resisting an Officer
*Fugitive Warrant – Lafourche Parish
-Shanell Morris was booked on counts of:
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Synthetic Marijuana
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Marijuana
*Obstruction of Justice
-Dohriyon Dvaughn Millien:
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Synthetic Marijuana
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Meth-Amphetamine
*Obstruction of Justice
*Failure to Appear – Assumption Parish – On Charges of
*D.W.I. (1st Offense)
*Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in a Motor Vehicle
*Improper Display of Temporary Registration and License Plate
Antoine Jerald Westley, Shanell Morris and Dohriyon Dvaughn Millien were all incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
