TRAFFIC INCIDENT / DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
JESSICA JEAN PEREZ – I.C.E. ARREST
BERTRANDVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jessica Jean Perez, 44, of 134 B & L Drive, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges arising from a traffic stop near Bertrandville on Thursday afternoon.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and executed a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Brent H. Aucoin and proceeded to interview the subject. At some point a female exited the vehicle and was attempting to conceal something in her clothing as she swiftly walked away but the deputy was able to stop her. The female now identified as Jessica Jean Perez was found to have concealed a quantity of marijuana upon her person. Jessica Jean Perez was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Obstruction of Justice
*Possession of Marijuana
Jessica Jean Perez remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
Brent H. Aucoin, 62 of 870 Highway 401 was cited for turning movements required signals and released with a court date.
