TRAFFIC INCIDENT – OFF ROAD VEHICLE, DRUG LAW VIOLATION –
I.C.E. ARREST – JASON MICHAEL ONCALE
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jason Michael Oncale, 45, of 1118 Highway 3185, Thibodaux, LA, on felony drug charges following a traffic stop on LA 401 Wednesday evening.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed an ATV off road vehicle traveling on LA 401 and conducted a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver now identified as Jason Michael Oncale and engaged Oncale in an officer / violator interview. At the end of that interview, the deputy concluded that additional investigation was warranted. The deputy requested consent to search the ATV which Oncale consented to. During that search, a quantity of methamphetamine was located and seized.
Jason Michael Oncale was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Safety Helmet Violations
*Off Road Vehicles on Road
Jason Michael Oncale remains incarcerated with bond set at $15,000.
