TRAFFIC INVESTIGATION – MACY MARIE BLANCHARD

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Macy Marie Blanchard, 25, of 113 Breaux Street, Pierre Part, LA, on felony drug charges arising from an investigation of a car parked in the middle of the roadway near Gumbo Street.

The deputy made contact with the lone occupant driver, now identified as Macy Marie Blanchard. The deputy noted a strong odor of suspected marijuana emitting from the vehicle.

Upon requesting identification of the driver, she refused to comply resulting in the arrest.

An inventory search of the vehicle was conducted which resulted in the seizure of an assortment of controlled dangerous substances.

Macy Marie Blanchard was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Psilocybin (Mushrooms)
*Possession of Marijuana – 1st Offense
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Resisting an Officer

Macy Marie Blanchard remains incarcerated with bond set at $15,000.
