TRAFFIC PURSUIT – FUGITIVE WARRANT – JACOBY D. MAHONEY

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jacoby D. Mahoney, 34, of 5980 Highway 308, Paincourtville, LA, on multiple felony charges after I.C.E. assigned deputies attempted to stop him based on fugitive warrants for his arrest.

As a deputy attempted to stop the vehicle Mahoney was operating, the suspect engaged deputies into a pursuit situation in the Klotzville area. The pursuit went through several streets and neighborhoods.

The vehicle eventually stopped, and Jacoby D. Mahoney was arrested. He was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
*Resisting an Officer
*Expired or Cancelled License Plate
*Security (Insurance Required)
*Fugitive Warrant – Caddo Parish
*Fugitive Warrant – Lafourche

Jacoby D. Mahoney remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
