TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATION – NICOLE LYNN GROS

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Nicole Lynn Gros, 41, of 134 Maryann Street, Pierre Part, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a Saturday evening traffic stop in Pierre Part.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle with a licensing violation and executed a stop of the vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Nicole Lynn Gros. The subject’s drivers license was determined to be suspended.

During the officer / violator interview, the investigating officer noted Nicole Lynn Gros to appear very nervous. At the conclusion of the interview, the deputy requested and was granted permission to search the vehicle. As a result of the search, a quantity of suspected meth-amphetamine was seized.

Nicole Lynn Gros was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*No License Plate

Nicole Lynn Gros remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
