TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATION
BRYAN JAMES LANDRY
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bryan James Landry, 36, of 506 Lafourche Drive, Apartment 3, Thibodaux, LA, on felony charges related to a December 29, 2021 traffic stop near Labadieville.
On the aforementioned date, a uniformed patrol officer observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver who was identified as Bryan James Landry. Following an officer / violator interview, the deputy requested and was granted consent to search the vehicle. During the search process, deputies seized a quantity of methamphetamine.
Due to incidental matters, deputies did not arrest Bryan James Landry at the time of the stop but did secure an arrest warrant at a later date.
Bryan James Landry was arrested by Thibodaux City Police on Tuesday. He was transported and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*No Seat Belt
Bryan James Landry remains incarcerated with bond set at $12,500.
