TRAFFIC STOP, DRUG LAW VIOLATION, DOMESTIC ORDER
VIOLATION – I.C.E. ARREST – BRUCE JOSEPH FAIR, JR.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr., 27, of 3386 Back Marias Street, Napoleonville, LA, on drug and domestic law violations arising from a traffic stop on LA 1 north of Napoleonville, Saturday afternoon.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a northbound vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Bruce Jospeh Fair, Jr. and engaged Fair into an officer / violator interview. The deputy noted a pungent odor of suspected marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The deputy obtained a criminal records and warrant check and determined that Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr. was currently under a domestic order of protection. During the investigation, the deputy recovered evidence indicating that Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr. had violated the protective order in question. The deputy also recovered suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr., was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Violation of a Protective Order
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Speeding – 65mph / 50 mph Zone
Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr. remains incarcerated with bond set at $35,000.
