TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
TIFFANY LYNN TATUM, CHET PAUL LANDRY
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tiffany Lynn Tatum, 41, of 634 Michel Road, Pierre Part, LA, and the issuing of violation notices to Chet Paul Landry, 43, of Pierre Part, LA, on numerous charges arising from a Saturday evening traffic stop in the 4600 Block of LA 1 south of Napoleonville, LA.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a south bound vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of the violator vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Chet Paul Landry and conducted a violator / officer interview. The deputy determined that Landry was driving with a suspended driver’s license.
The officer observed a female passenger to be fumbling around the passenger capsule and digging in a purse.
As a result of the interviews of the driver and the passenger, now identified as Tiffany Lynn Tatum, the deputy felt that additional investigation was warranted. The driver, Chet Paul Landry, consented to a search of the vehicle which yielded drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana. Additionally, a quantity of methamphetamine was seized from Tiffany Lynn Tatum.
Tiffany Lynn Tatum was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Chet Paul Landry was issued a summons for:
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Landry was issued traffic citations for:
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Failure to Dim headlights
*Illegal Window Tint
Tiffany Lynn Tatum remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
Chet Paul Landry was released and provided an appearance date.
