TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
JYRAH JAMARD BRINGIER
KLOTZVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jyrah Jamard Bringier, 30, of 128 First Street, Donaldsonville, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a traffic stop on Tuesday evening on LA 1 near Klotzville, LA.
A narcotics officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. Initially the driver attempted to flee. The agent eventually was able to stop the vehicle and made contact with the driver, now identified as Jyrah Jamard Bringier and conducted an officer / violator interview. The suspect was arrested at this point.
Jyrah Jamard Bringier was transported to the parish detention center. Upon arrival at the facility, drugs were seized from within the transport unit and from the suspect’s person.
Jyrah Jamard Bringier was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Obstruction of Justice
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
*Possession of Oxycodone
*Taking Contraband to / from a Penal Institution
*Resisting an Officer
*Following too Closely
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic
*Parole Violator
Jyrah Jamard Bringier remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
As to the parole violation, Bringier was ordered held without bond.
