TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – TIFFANY LYNN TATUM

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tiffany Lynn Tatum, 42, of 634 Michel Road, Pierre Part, LA, on felony drug possession charges arising from a traffic stop that occurred on April 8, 2023 on LA 70 in Pierre Part.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Tiffany Lynn Tatum and engaged Tatum in an officer / violator interview. During the interview, the deputy noted observations consistent with illegal drug activity. At some point, the deputy requested and was granted consent to search. The deputy seized multiple doses of the drug Vyvanse which she had no prescription for. Tatum was released pending additional investigation.

At the conclusion of the investigation, the deputy applied for and was granted arrest warrants for Tiffany Lynn Tatum.

Tiffany Lynn Tatum was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Vyvanse
*Failure to Display a License Plate

Tiffany Lynn Tatum remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
