TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Cedric Fair, 44, of 110 Highway 400, following a traffic investigation.
A uniformed patrol officer working the LA 400 Back Marais area, observed a vehicle illegally parked on a public roadway.
The deputy initiated an investigation and, in the process, noted that the two occupants of the vehicle were acting suspicious.
After detaining both subjects, deputies obtained consent to search the vehicle. Both suspects were also searched as a protective measure. During those searches, a quantity of crack cocaine and assorted paraphernalia were seized and was attributed to Cedric Fair. He was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Crack Cocaine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Cedric Fair remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
