TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
KRYSTAL ANN CLEMENT
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Krystal Ann Clement, 25, of 115 Diplomat Way Drive, Thibodaux, LA, on a felony drug warrant arising from a traffic stop on March 12, 2023 near Labadieville.
On the aforementioned date, a deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation near North Holly Road and LA 398 west of Labadieville.
At the time of this incident, deputies utilized a K-9 to conduct an open-air sniff of the suspect vehicle which resulted in a positive alert for the presence of controlled dangerous substances. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine and assorted drug paraphernalia.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the time of the stop. The passenger identified as Krystal Ann Clement was released at the time in consideration of a young child being present. A warrant was later issued for Krystal Ann Clement.
On Friday, March 1, 2024, Krystal Ann Clement was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Illegal Use of Controlled Dangerous Substances in the Presence of Person Under 17 Years of Age
Krystal Ann Clement remains incarcerated with bond set at $25,000.
