TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – RUDY J. BAZARE, JR.

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Rudy J. Bazare, Jr., 54, of 135 Moffett Court, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on felony drug law violations arising from a traffic stop on LA 662 near Bayou L’Ourse on Wednesday afternoon.

Narcotics officers on assignment observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. Officers made contact with the driver now identified as Rudy J. Bazare, Jr. During the investigative stop, Rudy J. Bazare, Jr. was found to possess on his person, quantities of methamphetamine and marijuana.

Rudy J. Bazare, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Marijuana
*Illegal Window Tint

Rudy J. Bazare, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
