TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
ARIAN NICOLE WIGGINS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Arian Nicole Wiggins, 27, of 723 Teche Road, Morgan City, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a traffic incident which occurred on LA 70 in Pierre Part on May 17, 2025.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a westbound vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver now identified as Arian Nicole Wiggins and engaged Wiggins in an officer / violator interview.
At the conclusion of that process, the deputy believed that additional investigation was warranted.
A search of the suspect vehicle resulted in the seizure of multiple controlled dangerous substances.
At the time of the incident, Arian Nicole Wiggins was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Xanax (Alprazolam)
*Possession of Adderall
*Sale, Distribution or Possession of a Legend Drug without a Prescription
*Possession of Marijuana
*Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated
*Expired Motor Vehicle Inspection Tag
*Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in a Motor Vehicle
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic
Arian Nicole Wiggins was released on a $70,000 commercial bond on May 20, 2025.
Deputies filed additional charges on Wiggins on June 27, 2025, upon confirmation of additional controlled dangerous substances by the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab.
Arian Nicole Wiggins was arrested in Napoleonville on Monday, July 28, 2025 on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of LSD (Lysergic Acid)
Arian Nicole Wiggins remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
