TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
JEFFREY BLAINE LODRIGUE / I.C.E. ARREST
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jeffrey Blaine Lodrigue, 29, of 3478 Second Street, Berwick, LA, on felony drug charges following a traffic stop by the Sheriff’s I.C.E. Unit.
An I.C.E. assigned deputy, working special operations, observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on LA 662 in Bayou L’Ourse on Tuesday.
The deputy conducted a stop of the vehicle and identified the driver as well as two other occupants, one being Jeffrey Blaine Lodrigue.
The deputy conducted a walk-around of the vehicle and noted a large bulge in Lodrigue’s pants. After confronting Lodrigue, it was determined that the bulge was a package containing a vast assortment of drug paraphernalia as well as marijuana and a quantity of Heroin.
Jeffrey Blaine Lodrigue was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Possession of Heroin
Jeffrey Blaine Lodrigue remains incarcerated with bond set at $5,000.
