TRAFFIC STOP / DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
REVA D. DEVILLE
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Reva D. Deville, 52, of 7001 Highway 1, Belle Rose, LA, on felony charges arising from a traffic stop near Labadieville on Thursday afternoon.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation near the LA 1247 Bridge in Labadieville.
The deputy initiated a stop of the vehicle and made contact with the driver, now identified as Reva D. Deville. The deputy conducted an officer / violator interview and at some point, a search of the vehicle was conducted.
During that search, a quantity of drug paraphernalia, meth amphetamine and a firearm were recovered.
Reva D. Deville was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on charges of:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Reva D. Deville remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
