TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
FELICIA ANN DAIGLE and CHERIE DENISE AUCOIN

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Felicia Ann Daigle, 35, of Rodrigue Street, Thibodaux, LA and Cherie Denise Aucoin, 49, of 2925 8th Street, Orlando, Florida, on felony drug charges arising from a Tuesday night traffic stop near Paincourtville.

A narcotics officer observed a vehicle on LA 70 displaying an equipment violation. The deputy initiated a stop of the vehicle and made contact with the driver, now identified as Felicia Ann Daigle.

During the investigation, deputies determined that Felicia Ann Daigle handed meth-amphetamine and drug paraphernalia to Cherie Denise Aucoin and instructed Aucoin to toss the drugs out of the vehicle as the stop was occurring.

The items were recovered and attributed to Felicia Ann Daigle.

Felicia Ann Daigle was arrested and booked into the Assumption parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Tail Lamps Required

Daigle was released on a $7,100 bond.

Cherie Denise Aucoin was booked on a charge of:

*Obstruction of Justice

Aucoin remains incarcerated with bond set at $25,000.
