TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
CHAD MICHAEL JOSEPH, GAGE MICHAEL BLANCHARD, RAQUEL D. DONSEREAUX and DEVIN GERARD JOSEPH – I.C.E. ARRESTS

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of the following suspects arising from a Saturday afternoon traffic stop on LA 1 near Belle Rose:

– Chad Michael Joseph, age 31 (Driver)

– Gage Michael Blanchard, age 25
136 Napoleon Avenue
Napoleonville, LA 70390

– Raquel D. Donsereaux, age 37
706 Railroad Avenue
Napoleonville, LA 70390

– Devin Gerard Joseph, age 21 (Summons)
155 Highway 1003
Belle Rose, LA 70341

On Sunday afternoon, an I.C.E. assigned deputy observed a southbound vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy noted unusual movement by rear seat passengers. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Chad Michael Joseph.

As the driver exited the vehicle, the deputy noticed him drop suspected drug paraphernalia on the ground. The deputy also noted a strong odor of suspected marijuana emitting from the vehicle.

It was determined that Chad Michael Joseph was driving under a suspended driver’s license.
The deputy made contact with the front seat passenger, identified as Devin Gerard Joseph. The deputy conducted a protective pat down search and as a result, two storage vials of suspected marijuana was seized.

At this time, the investigating deputy opted to impound the suspect vehicle due to licensing violations. An inventory search was conducted and during that process, quantities of heroin, fentanyl, Ativan, cocaine and assorted drug paraphernalia was seized from throughout the interior of the automobile.

At the conclusion of this investigative stop, the suspects were charged as follows:

*Possession of Heroin
*Possession of Fentanyl
*Possession of Cocaine
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Ativan
*Possession of Marijuana
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Illegal Window Tint
*Vehicle Registration Violations
*Failure to Appear – Assumption Parish (Obstruction of Justice)

– Gage Michael Blanchard:
*Possession of Heroin
*Possession of Fentanyl
*Possession of Cocaine
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Ativan
*Possession of Marijuana – (Third Offense Felony)

– Raquel Deshae Donsereaux:
*Possession of Heroin
*Possession of Fentanyl
*Possession of Cocaine
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Ativan
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Devin Gerard Joseph – issued summons for Possession of Marijuana. He was released.

Chad Michael Joseph, Gage Michael Blanchard and Raquel Deshae Donsereaux were incarcerated in the Assumption Parish Detention Center pending bond hearings.
