TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Blaine Adam Scully, Jr., 29, of 122 Cypress Street, Pierre Part, LA, on felony drug law violations following a Wednesday afternoon traffic stop in the vicinity of Lee Drive and Leonie Street.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle.
The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Blaine Adam Scully, Jr.
During the interview process, the deputy noted conditions and behavior consistent with illegal drug activity.
At some point, the deputy requested consent to search the vehicle which was granted. During that search, quantities of suspected marijuana, meth-amphetamine and assorted paraphernalia were recovered. Additionally, during a protective pat down sweep, additional meth-amphetamine was seized.
Blaine Adam Scully, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Marijuana
*Driving Under a Suspended License
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*No Seat Belt
*Proper Equipment Required on Vehicles
Blaine Adam Scully, Jr. remains incarcerated with bond set at $15,000.
