TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Lisa Diane Ortega Killion, 54, of 142 Ben Street, Apartment A, Pierre Part, LA, on felony drug law violations arising from a traffic stop late Wednesday night in Pierre Part.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and initiated a stop of the vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Lisa Diane Ortega Killion and conducted an officer / violator interview. During this process, the deputy observed conditions consistent with illegal drug activity.

The deputy, at some point, requested and was granted consent to search the vehicle. In doing so, a quantity of Clonazepam (Klonopin) was seized.

Lisa Diane Ortega Killion was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Clonazepam (Klonopin)
*License Plate Light Required

Lisa Diane Ortega Killion remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
