TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
ANTHONY JOSEPH TRICHE and STACHA A. ZICKO
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Anthony Joseph Triche, 44, of 242 Highway 401, Napoleonville, LA and Stacha A. Zicko, 49, of 547 Brule Road, Labadieville, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a Tuesday evening traffic stop on LA 308 north of Labadieville, LA.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Anthony Joseph Triche and conducted an officer / violator interview. The deputy also made contact with the passenger, now identified as Stacha A. Zicko and interviewed her as well.
After the interview process, the deputy concluded that additional investigation was warranted. The deputy requested a K-9 to the location. The K-9 conducted an open-air sniff of the suspect vehicle and alerted to the presence of controlled dangerous substances.
A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded suspected meth-amphetamine in multiple areas.
Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
– Anthony Joseph Triche:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic
– Stacha A. Zicko:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
Both Anthony Joseph Triche and Stacha A. Zicko remain incarcerated pending bond hearings.
