TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Seth Joseph Pujol, 29, of 35252 Highway 1 North, Donaldsonville, LA, on charges resulting from a late-night Thursday traffic stop.

Assumption Sheriff’s narcotics agents were working assignment on LA 70 near LA 70 Spur in the vicinity of Plattenville, LA when they observed a vehicle driving erratically, committing multiple violations.

Agents initiated a vehicle stop and made contact with the driver now identified as Seth Joseph Pujol.

After interviewing Pujol, a search of his vehicle was conducted. During that process, agents seized a quantity of schedule III illegal steroids and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Seth Joseph Pujol was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of a Schedule III Drug to wit Anabolic Steroids
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Speeding
*Driving Under Suspension
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic

Seth Joseph Pujol was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
