TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – JENNIPHER ANN RYLE
PIERRE PART– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jennipher Ann Ryle, 41, of 3917 Highway 70, Pierre Part, LA, on felony charges following a traffic stop on Shell Beach Road in Pierre Part late Wednesday.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations and initiated a stop of the vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Jennipher Ann Ryle and conducted an officer / violator interview.
The deputy noted several conditions displayed by Ryle to be consistent with illegal narcotics activity. The deputy utilized a K-9 to conduct an open-air sniff of the suspect vehicle which produced positive alerts for the presence of illegal narcotics.
At this point, the deputy confirmed that Ryle was driving under a suspended driver’s license.
During a search of the vehicle, a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was recovered.
Jennipher Ann Ryle was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Speeding
*Expired Motor Vehicle Inspection Tag
Jennipher Ann Ryle remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
