TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – I.C.E. ARREST
JULIE BROOK NOBLE, WILLIAM DEWAYNE LAWRENCE

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Julie Brook Noble, 33, of 5534 Highway 308, Napoleonville, LA and William Dewayne Lawrence, 49, of 210 Freetown Lane, Belle Rose, LA, on felony charges arising from an investigative stop on LA 70 East on Thursday evening.

A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle driving out of the parking lot of a local business after hours and initiated a stop of that vehicle.

The deputy made contact with the driver now identified as Julie Brook Noble. The deputy conducted an interview of the driver. The deputy then made contact with the passenger now identified as William Dewayne Lawrence and initiated an officer / violator interview with him. Following those interviews, the deputy believed additional investigation was warranted. The deputy requested and was granted consent to search the vehicle. As a result of that search, deputies seized quantities of cocaine, a sedative / muscle relaxer, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Julie Brook Noble was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Crack Cocaine
*Sale, Distribution, or Possession of a Legend Drug without an Order or Prescription – Prohibited
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Criminal Trespass

William Dewayne Lawrence was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Crack Cocaine
*Sale, Possession, of Distribution of a Legend Drug without an Order or Prescription – Prohibited
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Warrant – Theft (2 Counts)

Both Julie Brook Noble and Williams Dewayne Lawrence remain incarcerated with bonds set at $35,000 each.
