TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG VIOLATIONS

HARLEY NICOLE THIBODEAUX and MYLAN TONIO DIGGS

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Harley Nicole Thibodeaux, 21, of 5206 North Bayou Black Road, Gibson, LA, on traffic and drug charges following a traffic stop on Friday evening.

An I.C.E. Unit deputy observed a vehicle on LA 182 commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of the vehicle. Upon approaching the vehicle, the deputy noted a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The deputy interviewed the driver and quickly determined that his driver’s license had been suspended. The deputy also made contact with and interviewed the passenger now identified as Harley Nicole Thibodeaux.

The deputy requested and was granted consent to search the vehicle. As a result of that search, a quantity of marijuana was seized. Also, a quantity of meth-amphetamine was seized and attributed to Thibodeaux. Harley Nicole Thibodeaux was arrested and booked on charges of:

*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Marijuana
*Fugitive Warrants (3 Counts- Morgan City Police Dept.)

Thibodeaux was incarcerated in lieu of $2,500 bond.

Mylan Tonio Diggs was issued summonses for:

*Possession of Marijuana
*Headlamps Required
*Driving Under Suspension

Diggs was released.
