TRAFFIC STOP, FAILURE TO APPEAR – FELONY DRUG CHARGES – JONATHAN CLAUDE DUCK
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jonathan Claude Duck, 32, of 108 Billie Street, Paincourtville, LA, on a felony fugitive warrant arising from a traffic stop on LA 70 east of Pierre Part on Tuesday afternoon.
A uniformed patrol supervisor assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle on LA 70 commit a traffic violation and executed a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver now identified as Jonathan Claude Duck and engaged the driver in an officer / violator interview. During the interview process, the deputy conducted a driver’s license, and warrants check on Jonathan Claude Duck. It was determined that Jonathan Claude Duck was driving under a suspended driver’s license. It was further determined that Jonathan Claude Duck was wanted on a fugitive failure to appear warrant originating in Webster Parish.
Jonathan Claude Duck was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Fugitive Warrant – Webster Parish, Failure to Appear on Counts of:
-Possession of a Schedule II Drug
-Failure to Register a Vehicle
Jonathan Claude Duck remains incarcerated pending transfer to the jurisdiction of Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Jonathan Claude Duck was issued citations in Assumption Parish for:
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Speeding
Jonathan Claude Duck was issued a court date of the Assumption charges.
