TRAFFIC STOP – FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM
KWAN DELLEON BOLDEN
NAPOLEONVILLE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kwan Delleon Bolden, 38, of 108 Plaisance Drive, Raceland, LA, on felony gun law violations following a traffic stop Thursday afternoon in Napoleonville.
Detectives conducted a stop of the vehicle and made contact with the driver, now identified as Kwan Delleon Bolden. During an officer / violator interview, Bolden indicated the presence of a 9mm handgun in the vehicle. That firearm was eventually seized by detectives.
During the investigative stop, detectives determined that Kwan Delleon Bolden is a prior convicted felon and is unable to possess a firearm.
Kwan Delleon Bolden was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Illegal Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
Kwan Delleon Bolden remains incarcerated pending bond proceedings.
