TRAFFIC STOP – FUGITIVE ARREST – HARMONI SYMONE STEWART – I.C.E. ARREST

AMELIA – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Harmoni Symone Stewart, 24, of 408 Highway 311, Schriever, LA, on felony fugitive arrest warrants following a traffic stop on LA Highway 182 near Amelia on Thursday night.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a westbound vehicle commit a traffic violation and executed a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver now identified as Jonathan Dontrell Jones, 36, of 319 Hobson Street, Houma, LA. The deputy engaged the driver in an officer / violator interview. The deputy observed a passenger exit the vehicle and ordered the passenger to get back into the vehicle. The passenger now identified as Harmoni Symone Stewart refused to re-enter the vehicle.

The investigating deputy conducted a records check on both the driver and passenger at which time it was determined that Harmoni Symone Stewart was wanted on felony fugitive warrants originating in Terrebonne Parish.

Harmoni Symone Stewart was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on fugitive warrants from Terrebonne Parish on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse Battery
*Criminal Damage to Property
*Criminal Mischief
*Failure to Appear in Court on Traffic Offenses
*Promotion or Wholesale Promotion of Obscene Devices

Harmoni Symone Stewart was incarcerated and then transferred to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Jonathan Dontrell Jones was cited for:

*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Use of Multiple Bean Road Lighting Equipment

Jonathan Dontrell Jones was released with a court date.
