TRAFFIC STOP – FUGITIVE ARREST

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Mason Willie Robinson, 24, of 505 West 2nd Street, Thibodaux, LA, following a traffic stop Monday morning.

A uniformed patrol deputy working assignment on U.S. 90 near Bayou L’Ourse, LA, observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation.

The deputy initiated an investigatory stop. The driver provided identification and the deputy inquired with the communications office to determine if there were any outstanding warrants on Mason Willie Robinson. Dispatch advised of a fugitive warrant outstanding in Lafourche Parish.

Mason Willie Robinson was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on:

*Fugitive Warrant from Lafourche Parish for Failure to Appear on a Charge of
Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance

Robinson was also issued a citation for the traffic offense.

Upon completing the booking process, Robinson was transferred to Lafourche Parish.
