TRAFFIC STOP – FUGITIVE WARRANT – KEIFER NAWADNY

PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Keifer Nawadny, 22, of 19746 Colyell Bay, French Settlement, LA, on a felony fugitive warrant from the Walker, LA, police department following a traffic stop on LA 70 East.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a motorcycle on LA 70 East commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle.

The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Keifer Nawadny, and proceeded to interview him. The deputy conducted a warrants check on Keifer Nawadny and determined that Nawadny was wanted on felony charges by the Walker Police Department.

Keifer Nawadny was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Fugitive Warrant from the Walker, LA Police Department on Charges of:
-Violation of a Protective Order
-Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment

Keifer Nawadny was cited in Assumption parish for Speeding, 91mph / 55 mph zone.

Keifer Nawadny remains incarcerated pending transfer to the Walker Police Department.
