TRAFFIC STOP / FUGITIVE WARRANT – BRUCE KNOCKUM

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bruce Knockum, 57, of 125 Jones Street, Bertrandville, LA, on a fugitive warrant.

A uniformed patrol officer conducted a traffic stop on Monday on LA 308 near Paincourtville.

The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Bruce Knockum as well as one passenger.

Upon conducting a computer check, it was determined that Bruce Knockum was wanted on a fugitive warrant for Lafourche Parish.

Bruce Knockum was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Fugitive Warrant – Lafourche Parish

Knockum was then transferred to the custody of Lafourche Parish.
