BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Sonia Marie Todd, 43, of 120 Shannon Street, Patterson, LA, and David M. Mire, 45, 131 Velma Court, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on charges arising out of a traffic stop Monday morning on LA Highway 662.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of the vehicle. Upon doing so, the deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Sonia Marie Todd. The deputy conducted an officer / violator interview with the driver and conducted the same with the passenger, now identified as David M. Mire.

They noted both, Todd and Mire to be acting nervously and during the interview process, Mire provided a false name as his identification.
