TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS, FUGITIVE WARRANT, PURSUIT
BRYAN TRUMAINE JOHNSON
BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bryan Trumaine Johnson, 37, of 1050 Highway 1 South, Donaldsonville, LA, on charges following a traffic violation and subsequent pursuit late Sunday night.
A uniformed patrol deputy working assignment on LA 308 near Belle Rose, observed a southbound vehicle commit a traffic violation and attempted a traffic stop. The driver fled southbound on LA 308 in an attempt to evade the pursuing deputy. The suspect vehicle turned onto Daggs Street in Paincourtville, then into a private driveway. The deputy immediately placed the suspect, now identified as Bryan Trumaine Johnson, under arrest.
The deputy confirmed the existence of warrants for failure to appear in Assumption Parish. Johnson was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Speeding
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic
*Driving Under Suspension
*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Failure to Appear on Charges of:
-D.W.I.
-Possession of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoids
-Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in a Motor Vehicle
Bryan Trumaine Johnson was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
