UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY OF AN INHABITED DWELLING

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kevin Renard Lightell, 28, of 135 Andras Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on felony charges arising from an incident at a residence in Bayou L’Ourse on Thursday evening.

Uniformed patrol deputies responded to a complaint in the 100 block of Andras Street in reference to an individual who had reportedly entered a home uninvited and unauthorized. Deputies made contact with the complainants who advised that the family was watching television in the living room when an individual now identified as Kevin Renard Lightell walked through the front door and into the home. When one of the complainants yelled, Kevin Renard Lightell walked out of the home but attempted to re-enter. Kevin Renard Lightell then ran off.

Deputies located Lightell in the area and arrested him. Kevin Renard Lightell was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling

Kevin Renard Lightell remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
